Lancienne ville syrienne de Palmyre a récemment été libérée de lEtat islamique. Une équipe spéciale de neutralisation des explosifs et munitions de guerre dégage le chemin vers la ville, un kilomètre à la fois, des explosifs laissés par les terroristes. Plus les sapeurs se rapprochent du centre de Palmyre, plus les explosifs sont destructeurs. La tension monte entre le jeune capitaine de léquipe et le plus expérimenté des experts EOD. Mais lorsque léquipe tombe dans une embuscade et que le Capitaine est kidnappé, cest le sapeur expérimenté qui part à sa rescousse.
